Mementos from when I had been away. I’m really beginning to appreciate holidays to a whole new degree now. For the past month this little learning company we’re supposed to run all throughout term has been keeping me on my toes. Our first week has been grueling but kind.
I’ve never had cramps this bad since training season back in High School. Not to mention the migraines I’ve been having lately. I’ve never had these this frequently before. But I’m so glad about the happy reception from our school and the online community of friends and acquaintances. We’re selling something we call funcakes. They’re like a cross between an obanyaki or korean cake (but actually our recipe’s derived from a local Maranao delicacy, bruâ) and a donut. And we zapped them into something you can pop in your mouth.
This could be just some mad fad, but I’m thankful for it nonetheless.
So how have you been? I’ve noticed a handful of followers since the last time I logged in. Hello! What did I ever do to deserve you?

About a month ago, on a whim, I asked to apprentice for my school’s multimedia team for our annual Intramural. I was quite impressed with last year’s production that I thought I wanted to be a part of this year’s. Also, I had a few guy friends already in so it was easy as mentioning it over and over until they finally offer to let me tag along. haha
I’m just a tiny part of this video but I’m pretty happy about how it came out. This had been a six day production from inception to screening so it meant walking the streets at 10pm after class and a quick bath to spend the night at another home with crazy talented people til my class the next day:

Here’s the team on 7AM’s. I might say we got along quickly and very nicely.
Tiny bit of advice for low to mid-income kids who want to study art but can’t afford art school: kid, there are a million other places to learn and all you have to do is ask. It takes a bit of effort, but what is a little effort compared to dough you don’t have. HA!
Taking the opportunity to document bits of this awfully long week. This was actually just moments ago but it is, still part of it, technically.
Remember that thing I posted from our Product Planning and Development class? We never really prototyped that because we were only required a quick study. But now we have to for this business plan competition thing we’re not really up to joining because of the excitement in school next week.
Admittedly, after giving it ago tonight, we got pretty excited. We tried out different molds and flours and molding techniques. They’re not all that pretty but all we wanted to achieve was to know that it was doable. In case our professor’s really serious about making us submit an entry.
GPOYW. Man I really don’t feel like getting up for school this morning.
Mga kababayan, handa, awit!
My gradeschool never had kids lead flag ceremonies and I never had the chance to in High School. Seems only right. I look like I’m having too much of a good time.
The WIWAG Business Week program had a teeny tiny portion for advertising so for exercises they made us make quick sample copies for our hypothetical company and come up with the branding and etc.
I got ‘Ah,’s during the pitch because I drew triangles to make the ‘X’ look like a shoe, sideways, with much convincing. Some even read it as ‘CLUY’. haha
The thinner I spread myself, the fatter I get.
Universe, it’s about time you start explaining yourself.

See, I haven’t been lazy these past three weeks. Will bombard your dashboards with drawings. Nyahaha!

I’m not used to feeling like the last kid picked for dodge-ball teams. I don’t like it.
