Back from the whirlwind that was last week with tea and scones!
Best I could, I’m trying to keep from taking photos of food I make but it’s my first time making scones today.
Plus I think the photo could make for relevant visual aid: we have a new help at home today and mum was orienting her in the kitchen as my sister and I had a bake-off. Okay that doesn’t quite explain it.
My sister and I - we have this running game of kidding around with British accents. Long story about these little English and German kids we spent the summer with and the books and brit TV series we’ve been reading since January - I don’t know, it just stuck. Anyway, our workers and family are pretty much indifferent to it, they’ve even started to memorize some of french songs I play in the morning but our new help pulled a no-holds-barred judging face at us.
I think she thinks we’re overdoing it with the tea and scones.
